WTO has established its international market leadership at the world leading trade show of the machine tool industry.
“At EMO our customers expressed their appreciation for WTO’s quality, service, technical support and delivery reliability”, Sascha Tschiggfrei says.

The absolute highlight was the presentation of the new quick change system “QuickFlex®”. The interest in this innovative product exceeded the expectations.
WTO displayed several new products and innovations to a large number of interested visitors. Beside the new QuickFlex® following presented new products have been presented:
- A new patent applied tooholder interface with extreme high accuracy (repeatability) for turrets with BMT interface.
- new toolholder programs for the worldwide most popular quick change system Coromant Capto®
- new short adapter program without gripper grove for driven toolholders with Coromant Capto®
- new driven toolholder programs for Swiss Type turning centers, including a newly developed innovative Thread Whirling unit
- new hobbing units for manufacturing gears on turning centers
Like in the last years different turning centers of leading manufactures were equipped with WTO precision toolholders:
- DMG Mori Seiki
- Doosan
- Ecoca
- Emco
- Focus
- Goodway
- Index
- Maier
- Nexturn
- Schütte
- Takisawa
- Victor Taichung.
“Using WTO precision toolholders increases the productivity of the turn-/mill centers. Leading machine tool manufacturers are realizing the importance of the entire machine-toolholder-system for maximum productivity”, stated Patrick Diener (Sales Manager Asia).
